Room for Growth – Local 362 on the Move in Edmonton

We are happy to announce that on March 1, 2021 the Local will be taking possession of a new office space in the Greater Edmonton Area. It has become evident that the limited space currently available in Edmonton for membership, general meetings and training would not be sufficient as we continue to grow. It is also important to mention that Local 362’s current office space is facing structural issues that are in need of expensive and lengthy repairs. As conducting repairs would not alleviate the need for more space to best serve Local 362’s membership, the Executives of Local 362 began their search for the best option.

Exploring options for growth in the Greater Edmonton Area, the Local Union looked into different possibilities with keeping costs minimal. Through research, the Executives of Local 362 determined that purchasing a preexisting structure would allow us the much needed space to grow and was the friendliest budgetary option available. With the newly purchased office space easily accessible and conveniently located just off the Anthony Henday drive and Yellowhead trail in Sherwood Park, we will be minutes away from where our current office space is located in northwest Edmonton.

We look forward to greeting Members of Local 362 in the Edmonton Area at our new office (Located at: 115 Portage Close, Sherwood Park) in the near future. Once permitted by Alberta Health Services and the Provincial Government, we will be happy to hold an open-house event for members and their loved ones tour our new office space, but to be served something hot off of Local 362’s BBQ.
